Rest In Peace, Princess.

My beautiful Princess Marbles died last week, on Tuesday April 24.  She was diabetic, and had a bad reaction to the insulin.  She was still breathing but not responsive when I found her, so we rushed her to the Vet where they told me that she was brain dead, and her heart was going to give out.  I got a few minutes to say goodbye to my angel, and the Vet put her to sleep in my arms, at least she didn't die alone.  She looked so peaceful after she was gone, she was so sick for a while.

I had my cat since the day she was born.  she was 11 years old when she passed.  She was a beautiful princess.  So proper, playful, lovable, and sweet.  I miss her so much.  It has been a very hard week for me, obviously.

I love you Princess, I will never forget you.  Rest In Peace, sweetheart.

Days

My week days simply just go by too fast.  luckily, its almost spring!  I can't wait for warmer weather, longer days to sit outside and just enjoy the outside life instead of being stuck in a house all day long.  Its been a warm winter, though, so I can't complain too much.

I just bought myself 3 new pairs of pants from thaitee.  Honestly, its all I could afford at the moment!  I will be buying more from her soon, I just love her stuff.  Here are the treasures that I just purchased:

  

I have been busy with a load of homework, and adding new items to the shop.  I can't wait for this semester to be over!

Sundays...

At Hardees, Sundays are the middle of my work week, although, I only work three days, but that doesnt matter.  sundays, however, are my favorite work day, for a many reasons.  One, I get to go into work an hour later to open up the store.  This gives me an extra ghour of sleep, although waking up at 4 am is almost as bad as waking up at 3 am.  Two, I love my customers, and I always get to take my lunch break with two of my favorite customers :)  Al comes in everyday, and he is a quiet guy, but Maggie only comes in twice a week, and Sunday is one of them.  I've known them both for the past 6 years I've worked at Hardees, and they both came with me to the store I am at now, from the old store that I use to work at.  Finally, the third reason I love Sundays is...ONE MORE DAY OF WAKING UP WAY BEFORE THE SUN COMES UP.  Not that I get to sleep in late durring the week (I get up at 7 a.m. to get the kids ready), but atleast the sun is up before I am!

Hope everyone is doing well :)  My shop has been booming latley, almost as if I hadn't gone away for 4 monthes, but I've been doing a good job at balancing my work, job, etsy store abd having time for my kids, boyfriend and pets.

A week

My shop has been reopen for a week, and I am still working on it A LOT.  But I have had a few sales, which I am excited about.  I can't wait to be as successful as I was before I closed.

It's almost time for midterms again at school, which isn't as exciting, but I can't wait for this semester to be over.  Even though its only my second semester, it is extremely hard, and I find myself wondering what I got myself into.  But I passed a test that the professor said we would all fail, so it gives me hope that I might make it through alright.  Just need to work a little harder than I did last semester.

New Look!

I just updated my blogs looks, it's a lot better looking now than it was before.  I opened my shop back up 3 days ago, and while I haven't had a sale yet, I am happy to be back in business.  I am still in the process of listing items, but that just takes time.

Tomorrow

Well, tomorrows the day I will be reopening my shop!  I am excited, and realize I still have a lot to do!

Business

As part of reopening Peppy and Belle's Jewelry, in college I am taking a business class.  Although I started my Etsy site out of boredom/ as a hobby, I really learned from this that I want to really have my own business.  Reading this Intro to Business book is interesting, because I thought I taught myself alot, but I am realizing that there is ALOT to learn.

Otherwise, reopening of Peppy and Belle is going as planned.  30 more days!  I can't wait to open it back up, but don't want to open early, for I have ALOT on my plate already.

Hopefully I will update again before my grand reopening.  If anyone has any tips, please feel free to share them with me!
