Business

As part of reopening Peppy and Belle's Jewelry, in college I am taking a business class.  Although I started my Etsy site out of boredom/ as a hobby, I really learned from this that I want to really have my own business.  Reading this Intro to Business book is interesting, because I thought I taught myself alot, but I am realizing that there is ALOT to learn.

Otherwise, reopening of Peppy and Belle is going as planned.  30 more days!  I can't wait to open it back up, but don't want to open early, for I have ALOT on my plate already.

Hopefully I will update again before my grand reopening.  If anyone has any tips, please feel free to share them with me!

Went away for a while

So, I went away for a while.  Obviously.  But I do plan on being back soon, really soon.  My goal is to be back up and running by my Birthday (Feb 17) so keeping my fingers crossed!  I've missed my shop so much in the time I've been away.  Heres yo a new start to Peppy and Belles Jewelry!

Also, I will be looking for advertisement space.  Willing to trade a free link for a free link.  Also, I may be buying one or two spaces.  Let me know if your selling.  I sell hemp jewelry and supplies.

xpeppyandbellex@gmail.com   is the best way to reach me.

Wednesdays spotlight

Todays spotlight is:  PetalnPearlBoutique

Hi, Thanks so much. Our shop is PetalnPearlboutique and the birth of my little one Belle inspired me! She will be one in October and she is my first girl after two boys and I wanted to have some beautiful pieces for photography shoots with her so I started shopping etsy and I thought "I can do this" It really got my creativity flowing again since I have been working as a labor and delivery nurse for the last few years. Plus massage therapy, lactation counceling and birth doula, I had put aside creating with my hands for several years. Now the floodgates have opened! My friend Jen and I inspire each other and our daughters are our beautiful models! Here are a few pieces we love!

I'm especially psyched about my newest inspired items Barefoot Blossom (TM) sandals. I truly believe they are unique and adorable and could really take off!

Here are some of my favorite but if you have a minute you should check out the shop

Etsy shop feature

Wednesdays Etsy shop feature is: Experience

1) I was inspired to start Experience Designs in the summer of 2008. It was then that I discovered Etsy, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of it. I had always enjoyed making jewelry, and when I saw the amazing resin works that various shops had, I started research immediately. Pretty soon I had watched all the Youtube videos I could find regarding resin work and the next time I went out to Micheal's and bought my first molds and other resin supplies. From there it was a whirlwind of experimentation and imagination to get where I am today.

2) I want to go everywhere in the world! However, if I have to limit myself to one place I would have to sell somewhere in Europe. I've always been interested in traveling there, and there is so much to do and see regarding the art world.

3) I'm currently most proud of a resin necklace I made using white resin and little, pink candy spheres. Here is the link: www.etsy.com/listing/74057147/elegant-kawaii-pink-dots-candy-sprinkles

4) I am a student at the University of Georgia and I'm majoring in studio art with an emphasis in jewelry and metalworking. I have a feeling I'll never be done with resin, but pretty soon, my shop will be full of brand new designs made with metal! This is a really exciting time for Experience Designs. :)

Random Monday

So life has been tough, schools starting to kick my butt, and I feel bad for never updating my blog.  But I will try to more often.  I really need to make myself a schedule and keep to it.

Other than that, hope everyone is doing well :)
